Why Choose Genuine

Most sellers, including major UK competitors, list generic aftermarket batteries under factory brand names for this model. This is genuine Apple stock.

Calibrating Your New Battery

After fitting, use your MacBook normally for the first one to two weeks — charging and discharging naturally rather than forcing full drains. This lets the system's battery gauge learn the new cell's true capacity, so Battery Health in System Settings reports accurately. Modern macOS manages this calibration automatically in the background; you don't need to manually run it down to 0% or hold it at 100%.
